Job Description

Tele-Caller and Database Executive in an EdTech company plays a crucial role in both engaging with prospective students and managing the data that supports these interactions. This dual role involves making outbound calls to potential students and professionals, promoting educational courses, and accurately maintaining the database to ensure the smooth operation of the sales process.  

Key Responsibilities:

Outbound Calls:

• Make outbound calls to prospective students and professionals.
• Follow up on leads generated through various marketing campaigns and sources.

Sales and Promotion:

• Promote and sell educational courses offered by the company.
• Explain the features, benefits, and advantages of the courses to potential customers.
• Persuade and convince prospects to enroll in the courses.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns regarding the courses.

Needs Assessment:

• Assess the educational needs and career goals of prospective students and professionals.
• Recommend suitable courses based on individual needs and goals.

Database Management:

• Maintain and update the customer database with accurate and up-to-date information.
• Keep detailed records of calls, interactions, and sales.

Target Achievement:

• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs (Key performance indicators).
• Work towards meeting company sales goals and objectives.

Reporting:

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on call performance, sales, and customer feedback.
• Provide insights and suggestions for improving sales strategies and processes.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align strategies and share feedback.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve product/services knowledge and sales techniques.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated with the latest courses, industry trends, and competitors.
• Continuously improve sales skills and product/services knowledge through training and self-study
Database Management:
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter and update customer and lead information in the company’s database or CRM system.
  • Data Validation: Regularly check and clean the database to ensure that all records are up-to-date, accurate, and free of duplicates.
  • Data Segmentation: Segment the database into relevant categories for targeted marketing and outreach campaigns.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on lead conversion rates, customer interactions, and other key metrics for management review.
  • Data Security: Ensure the security and confidentiality of the data handled, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
Administrative Tasks:
  • Document Management: Maintain and organize all related documentation for easy access and retrieval.
  • Task Prioritization: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines.
