Job Description
The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for driving sales and marketing strategies to promote the company’s products or services. This role requires a balance between generating new leads, maintaining client relationships, and executing marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
- Identify potential customers and business opportunities through market research, cold calls, and networking.
- Develop strategies to attract and retain clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, addressing their needs and providing solutions.
- Follow up on leads, sales inquiries, and customer feedback.
Sales Presentations & Negotiation:
- Prepare and deliver presentations on products or services.
- Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales with clients.
Sales Targets:
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Track and report on sales performance using CRM tools or relevant software.
Marketing Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns:
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns (online and offline) to drive lead generation and brand recognition.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials such as brochures, social media content, newsletters, etc.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Provide insights on product pricing, promotions, and market positioning.
Digital Marketing:
- Assist in managing the company’s digital marketing presence, including social media, email marketing, and SEO/SEM efforts with the team.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns with a team.
Brand Development:
- Contribute to brand-building efforts through promotional events, and partnerships.
- Ensure consistent branding across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
Collaboration & Communication:
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product/services, design, and content teams to align sales and marketing strategies with the company’s overall goals.
Client Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Serve as the point of contact for inquiries, complaints, and post-sales support.
Reporting & Analysis:
Sales Reporting:
- Prepare regular sales and marketing reports, presenting performance, market trends, and actionable insights.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in creating sales forecasts and managing the marketing budget to optimize ROI.
